  1. Some spiders can see in both UVA and UVB.
  2. Spider web silk is stronger and tougher than steel for its weight.
  3. Most spiders have eight eyes although some have six or fewer but there are none that are cyclops, they always come in pairs.
  4. Some spiders eat their own webs to recycle the amino acids that make up the silk proteins.
  5. Water spiders use the silk to hold an underwater air supply.

 

Our Critter socks are extra soft, made from a high percentage of cotton with the designs woven into the sock. Made of a blend of Cotton 80% / Nylon 17% / Spandex 3%. They are warm enough for cool days, and breathable enough for hot days!
