5 Dragon facts

  1. Many world religions associate dragons with the beginning of the world.
  2. Dragons are often seen as a symbol of knowledge of wisdom.
  3. The word ‘dragon’ comes from Ancient Greek ‘drakon’, meaning serpent, but even further back it comes from the root work ‘derk-‘, meaning ‘to see’.
  4. Kenneth Grahame, who wrote The Wind In The Willows, created the first kind dragon in western literature.
  5. Technically, many dragons are actually wyverns: dragons have four feet and two wings, while wyverns have two feet and two wings.

Our Critter socks are extra soft, made from a high percentage of cotton with the designs woven into the sock. Made of a blend of Cotton 80% / Nylon 17% / Spandex 3%. They are warm enough for cool days, and breathable enough for hot days!
